The Plateau Valley Fire Protection District is located in Mesa County, Colorado. Its response area is approximately 837 square miles of rugged mountain terrain serving communities such as Collbran, Molina and Mesa. The district has both paid and volunteer staff. The annual call volume for 2024 was 397 calls. PVFD also provides mutual and automatic aid to neighboring agencies within the county.
